‘Avatar’ – Internationaler Trailer

Der Starttermin zu James Camerons’ erwartetem Film „Avatar“ rückt allmählich näher. Es wurde ein neuer Trailer zum Streifen veröffentlicht.

Einige Szenen erinnern ein wenig an „Matrix Reloaded/Revolutions“.

200 Jahre in der Zukunft sind die Ressourcen auf der Erde verbraucht. Die Menschheit muss ausweichen und findet auf dem Planeten Pandora reichlich Rohstoffe, um diese abzubauen. Doch zu einem hohen Preis. Pandora ist so ziemlich der unwirtlichste Ort, der vorstellbar ist. Die ungeselligen Na’Vis, Geschöpfe, die den Planeten bevölkern, sind da fast noch am freundlichsten. Die Wissenschaftler erschaffen Avatare, um in Gestalt der Na’Vis die Umwelt zu erforschen. Gesteuert werden diese Avatare von Menschen. Der querschnittsgelähmte Marine Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) ist absolut furchtlos und lässt sich auf das Abenteuer ein, seinen Geist in einen Avatar versetzen zu lassen. Auf Pandora trifft er auf die eingeborene Neytiri, in die er sich verliebt. Doch Gefahren von Bestien, die die Na’Vis vernichten wollen, lauern an jeder Ecke.

Ein grandioser Zusammenschnitt aller „Heiligen“-Sprüche von Robin aus der frühen Batman-Serie (1966).
Schon eine makabere Sache das Ganze und nach ungefähr 3 Minuten dreht man auch total am Rad, wenn man sich das Video anschaut, totzdem lohnt es sich .

‘Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li’ – Kampfszene

Zur aktuellen Street Fighter Verfilmung wurde eine Kampfszene aus dem Film veröffentlicht.

Die Reporterin Chun-Li schleicht sich in das große Shadaloo Turnier ein, um das Verschwinden ihres Vaters aufzuklären.

Ein Starttermin ist bisher noch nicht bekannt.

Danke, Kinowelt!

Vor nicht allzu langer Zeit, schaute ich mir den Film „Jumper“ an. Ein eher mittelmäßiger Film, aber darum geht es gerade nicht.

Kurz nach dem Einlegen der DVD, erschien folgendes Bild:

Viele kennen wahrscheinlich die anderen „Raubkopierer-Spots“, wo z.B. die junge Familie vorm Gefängnis, sich die Seele aus dem Leib singt, weil der Herr Papa einige Zeit hinter Schwedischen Gardinen verbringen muss, da er nichts besseres zu tun hatte als Semi-Professionell, Raubkopien zu verticken (vielleicht war das auch sein „Hauptberuf“ um die Familie zu ernähren?).
Ein anderer Spot zeigt den frisch entlassenenen „Ex-Raubkopierer“, wie er innerhalb von wenigen Minuten, seine 5 Jahre Haft wett machen will, in dem er eine junge Frau anspricht und hier alles vor den Latz knallt, was ihm einfällt (Ehe, Kinder, etc…).

Das nervige an diesen Spots ist, diese kann man (selten) nicht überspringen. Der geneigte Filmfan, der sich seine Filme kauft, wird somit auf seltsame Weise abgestraft, dass er/sie Filme kaufen. Jemand, der sich nur Filme kopiert oder aus dem Netz lädt, wird nie mit diesen Spots konfrontiert werden.

Warum ist mir das also einen Eintrag wert? Dies lässt sich relativ schnell beantworten, Kinowelt hat es, in meinen Augen, ganz einfach geschafft, mit einer simplen Botschaft, die weder aufdringlich noch nervig ist, den Käufer in seinem Handeln zu stärken und auch zu belohnen, im Sinne von, sich besser fühlen.

Von dieser Geste könnten sich ein paar andere Labels eine Scheibe abschneiden.

Oscar Nominierungen bekannt gegeben

Die Nominierungen für die 81. Oscarverleihung wurden bekannt gegeben. Positiv zu erwähnen sei, dass „Der Baader Meinhof Komplex“ als bester ausländischer Film eine Nominierung erhielt und in „Best live action short film“, sind auch zwei Nominierungen für Deutschland. „The Dark Knight“ geht leider in den Kategorien „Performance by an actor in a leading role“, „Best motion picture of the year“ und „Achievement in directing“, leer aus, dafür gibt es einige Nominierungen in anderen Kategorien, so dass, es vielleicht doch noch einen Oscar für den Film geben kann.

Unvergessliche Eröffnungssequenzen

Beim Smashing Magazine wurde eine Liste mit den unvergesslichsten Eröffnungssequenzen zusammengestellt. Insgesamt sind es um die 30, ich stelle, mit Hilfe dieser Liste, eine kleine Auswahl zusammen. Wer die komplette Liste sehen will, klickt einfach auf Smashing Magazine.

Es lässt sich natürlich darüber streiten, ob die Sequenzen „unvergesslich“ sind, oder eher einen besonderen Eindruck hinterlassen. Das sollte aber jeder für sich selber entscheiden – eins ist sicher, sie sehen alle verdammt cool aus.

Diese Frage stellt die Homepage Film Addict. Die Liste stammt von der IMDB Top 250 Liste und wird dann nach Auswahl der Filme gewichtet. Man muss auch dazu sagen, dass viele Filme teilweise noch aus 1960 sind und da gibt es nicht soviele, die ich gesehen haben. Ich komme auf eine magere Punktzahl von 25.2 %.
